Thanksgiving Reflections at Vaughn Johnson Orthodontics!

Thanksgiving is a holiday that means the world to our office. It’s a time of reflection, a time where those who have loved us into being are brought together, and, of course, a time of spectacular meals! Our office has had a lot to be thankful for this year and we’re eager to reciprocate the goodwill.

For Dr. Vaughn, family, food, and fun are the hallmarks for the holiday. Nothing can beat a traditional feast surrounded by those closest to you. Having a pumpkin pie for dessert doesn’t hurt either! However, he might need to be careful around olives, though. One of his most memorable Thanksgiving moments comes from when he got sick from indulging a little heavily on black olives. Can you blame him? They’re delicious!

The food might be great, but there is also much to be grateful for. We’ve had a drought for quite some time, so being able to have snow this year was an absolute joy and our office is beyond grateful for it. We also do our best to give thanks around this time of year. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a meal, so Dr. Vaughn donates to our local non-profit food bank every year to help do his part.

No matter how you celebrate, we hope it is a joyous day for you and your loved ones. Be sure to tell us all about your plan next time you’re in the office!
