It’s almost Summer and all of us here at Vaughn Johnson Orthodontics cannot be more exited!
In the summer many of us enjoy mountain biking, playing at Lake Nighthorse, going to Running Rivers, hiking, fishing and camping. Shannon also participates in a women’s softball team and will be doing so again for her second year.
While we have many parks around us, Lake Nighthorse and Pastorius Reservoir are two of our favorites. What are your favorite parks to enjoy a warm and sunny day at?
This summer we have a few events planned. One of our favorites is enjoying the Fourth of July celebrations in Silverton and Bayfield.
We are also so excited for Robin who will be watching her twin sons graduate from high school! Evan is enrolled in Colorado State University and Connor will be headed to the United States Naval Academy. She will be helping both of them settle in later this summer.
We are also all enjoying the fresh produce that is slowly coming back in season. As June is National Fresh Fruits and Vegetables month many of us enjoy eating raspberries and other fresh fruits. However, our favorite dishes to make are rhubarb pie and apple dumplings.
